Construction Worker’s Daughter Who Has Been A Scholar And a Dean’s Lister Inspires A Lot Of Netizens
Cealline Griarte is a daughter of a construction worker. She made sure that she will graduate from college despite their poverty.
Griarte took up BSBA Major in Accounting at Jose Rizal University (JRU) in Mandaluyong City. She has been a scholar, since she was a salutatorian in high school and was given full scholarship by the school since they couldn’t afford the tuition. She is also a Dean’s Lister in this school and will graduate this March 2017 with flying colors.
In her lengthy Facebook page, Griarte shared her inspiring story of her success.

She recalled her scholarship application at JRU saying: “Naalala ko pa nung nag-apply ako for scholarship, ako lang mag-isa.
Before, Griarte worked as a call center agent to help finance her studies and daily allowance but decided to give up the job after 8 months because of stress of work and schooling at the same time.
Then, Griarte worked as as student assistant in their library but on her last semester, Griarte said she need to focus on her on-the-job training.
