A 16-year old member of a girl group named Fatima Laguerras impressed the coaches with her rendition of Bruno Mars’ “Runaway Baby” on The Voice Teens Philippines blind auditions on Sunday, May 7.
Fatima made coaches Lea Salonga and Sarah Geronimo turned their swivel chairs.
Coach Lea said: “I love your performance from the beginning ’til the end. You look like having so much fun with your performance.”
According to Sarah: “Para kang pro na pro nang kumanta. Alam mo ‘yung relax ka lang kumanta, tamang tama lang ‘yung timpla. Ang saya lang na makatrabaho ‘yung ganyang klaseng bata.”
Meanwhile, Bamboo said: “It’s a matter of consistencies from top to end.”
“Your notes were were just right. You have a great voice,” said Sharon.
In the end, Fatima picks team Sarah.
Fatima also taught the four coaches the dance steps on stage. They were all happy and enjoyed dancing. Audience were clapping their hands as coaches Lea, Sarah, Sharon and Bamboo were dancing. Even the host Luis Manzano at the back was dancing. He even went to stage to join the coaches…
