This Man Was Selling Lamp On The Streets And Only Gets A Percentage Of His Earnings — P5.00 Per Lamp Sold. When This Netizen Saw Him, It Turned Into A Touching Moment!

A netizen named Josh Matienzo shared on Facebook his encounter with a man named Carlo Pelaez, a poor lamp seller. Pelaez sells gas lamps so he can buy food for him and his ailing mother. According to him, his father had left him and his disabled mother a long time ago.
In Matienzo’s post, he implores his friends from Lucena City
as his Facebook friends and classmates from the Carlito Balita Review center to help this poor lamp seller in any way they can.
Matienzo reveals that the lamp seller is a native of Dalahican who sells gas lamps right beside a Chowking restaurant branch in Lucena City. Apparently, Pelaez has been selling gas lamps so he can buy food for him and his mother.
While each lamp costs around P35.00, he only gets a percentage of his earnings – P5.00 per lamp sold. He does this every night.
On a good week, Mr. Pelaez can sell P175 worth of lamps which means he can bring home around P25. Obviously, this isn’t enough for a decent meal.
