WATCH! Aegis Juris frat members Solano scolded by Sen.Zubiri: ”GINAGAGO MO KAMI!

Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri was scolded John Paul Solano on the second Senate hearing on the death of UST (University of Sto. Tomas) law student Horacio “Atio” Castillo III due to the hazing of Aegis Juris Fraternity.

Zubiri said that Solano seems to have diminished the Senate committee after it failed to fulfill the executive session’s commitment to its affidavit.

First to ask during the hearing, Zubiri started his interpellation with Solano by asking him: “Ginagago mo ba ang aming comite? … Do you disrespect this committee?”

To which Solano answered, “No, your honor,” to both questions.

Last week, Zubiri initiated a resolution, which was signed by 21 senators, allowing the Senate committee to release the full transcript of the testimony, which Solano made during an executive session with some senators.

Solano claimed it was “beyond his control” that he could not file his sworn affidavit yet.
Instead of filing a statement on October 4, Solano filed a motion to quash on a search warrant that Sen. Win Gatchalian and Sen. Grace Poe.

But Zubiri said he does not believe that the delay was beyond Solano’s control.

He said Solano must have been influenced by his Aegis Juris fraternity brothers.

“I don’t believe it’s beyond your control. Ginagago mo lang talaga kami, I think you are prevailed upon by your brothers.said Zubiri

Let’s no longer allow the disrespect of this committee, I move to release the testimony of Solano,” Zubiri added

Meanwhile According to Senator Sherwin Gatchalian, Solano seems to have been there was a cover by his testimonies in the executive session.
