A mother and her only child was found dead inside their home in General Trias, Cavite.

The victims were identified as Ruby Gamos and her seven-year-old daughter Shaniah Nicole.

The relatives of Mr. Gamos and the authorities discovered the dead body of the victims inside their house and they assumed that they were already lifeless for four days.

General Trias Police Chief Supt. Sandro Tafalla – stealing their crime motives because they lost their cellphones, jewelry and car.

According to the autopsy report, Mrs. Gamos died due to head injury, while Shaniah Nicole died due to suffocation.

A father Marlon Gamos who’s a seaman working in United Arab Emirates became emotional when he came back to the Philippines to visit the wake of his murdered family.


According to him, they don’t have any enemies so he didn’t expect that his family would be murdered by someone.

He said that he decided to leave the Philippines to give a good future to his family, but now his dreams were destroyed because the people that he supported for many years were murdered.

“Nagpapakahirap kami sa ibang bansa para lang sa kanila, bakit ganon naman yung ginawaa nila?” Mr. Gamos told the media

Mr. Gamos said that he believed that the people behind the murder of his wife and daughter deserved death penalty so he urged President Rodrigo Duterte to impose it as soon as possible.

“President Duterte, please tulungan niyo po ako,” he said.

The mourning OFW also believed that the people who killed his family were under the influence of illegal drugs when they committed the crime.

He narrated that the last chat between him and his wife was last Thursday and the victim sent two selfies to him before their conversation ended.

But he became more worried as the day goes by, because his wife was not chatting him anymore.

His daughter also didn’t appear in their school event on Saturday, so he already asked his relatives to check the condition of his family.


Mr. Gamos broke down in tears after he was being informed about what happened to his family, fortunately he was helped to go back to the Philippines immediately to see his wife and daughter for the last time.

He planned to surprise his wife by proposing to her this Christmas for a church wedding.
