Trillanes, hindi imbitado sa PMA Alumni Homecoming

Former marine Captain and mutineer, Senator Antonio Trillanes did not attend the Philippine Military Academy Alumni Homecoming yesterday.

In an interview, the senator said he did not receive an invitation, but also added that he might have avoided Duterte. Trillanes is a staunch Duterte critic.

It was later found out that Trillanes was in Bacolod City attending another occasion.

Among the attendees were Senator Panfilo Lacson, former PNP Chief and member of PMA Class 1971, National Security Adviser ret. Gen. Hermogenes Esperon (PMA Class 1974), Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana (PMA Class 1973), and others

PNP Chief Gen. Ronald dela Rosa (Class 1986), AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Eduardo Año (Class 1983), and other top government officials were also present.

This is not the first time that Trillanes was snubbed by his Alma Mater.

Last year, he was disowned by another PMA alumni group, and even barred from entering Camp Crame on at least one occasion.

Trillanes is a member of PMA “Marilag” Class of 1995, and one of the top students of the class.

Trillanes’ absence from the yearly academy celebration was very obvious, in which President Rodrigo Duterte was the main visitor. The celebration was also attended by the top Military cavaliers.
