Former Negros Oriental Rep. Jacinto “Jing” Paras files kidnapping, wiretapping charges vs Sen.Risa Hontiveros

Senator Risa Hontiveros faces a legal criticism earlier than the Office of the Ombudsman for the taking of witnesses within the slay of 17-year-old pupil Kian Delos Santos and for taking footage of the textual content messages of Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II.

Instead of Aguirre who earlier promised to sue her, it was former Negros Oriental Rep. Jacinto “Jing” Paras who filed the criticism earlier than the Ombudsman on Monday (September 25).

In his criticism, Paras accused the lawmaker of kidnapping, obstruction of justice, and wiretapping. He defined Hontiveros took custody of three minors who’re witnesses within the dath of Delos Santos and has refused to show let investigators to speak to them.

“It is also very clear that she kept custody of these children from the period of Aug. 19, 2017 to Sept. 3, 2017 and turned over to the Senate custody only on Sept. 4, 2017 to testify in the Senate investigation, and then again took control and custody of the minors after said Senate hearing and placed them in the care of a certain Bishop Pablo David,” he identified in his criticism.

Apart from this, Hontiveros introduced in her final privilege speech a photograph of the textual content messages Aguirre had with Paras which was taken when the Secretary was at a Senate listening to final September 5.

She introduced this as proof that Aguirre is plotting towards her and different members of the opposition.
“These text exchanges which were illegally recorded through a device, in this case a camera, was transformed into a picture by the photographer who made the secret recording,” Paras indicated.
