Noven Belleza Is The Grand Champion Of ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan.’ Judges Jumped Out Of Their Seats With His Heartfelt Performance

Noven Belleza, a rice farmer from Negros Occidental is ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan’ grand champion, with an average score of 99.96 percent. 

Noven has won the hearts of the audience and the judges with his heartfelt performances of an Air Supply Medley — “Now And Forever,” “The One That You Love” and “Without You.” More than that, everyone was touched by his determination to pull his family out of poverty. Noven said his family only lives off a weekly income of P1,000. He sacrificed his own education to help his younger siblings get decent schooling.

According to Noven: “Gusto ko pong sabihin sa lahat ng tao na may gusto po akong patunayan, na kahit anong katayuan sa buhay ay hindi imposible na abutin ang pangarap ninyo, basta magpursige lang.” 

He also said: “Minsan naiinggit din ako sa mga ka-edad ko dahil sila libro iyong hawak, ako, kalabaw at pang-araro,” he said. “Pero kailanman ay hindi ko ikakahiya ang pinanggalingan ko kasi dito ako naging matibay.”

Noven bested fellow Top 3 finalists Sam Mangubat and Froilan Canlas, who placed second and third, respectively.
