Mica Becerro impressed all four coaches — Sharon Cuneta, Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo with her audition piece on the Voice Teens Philippines Blind Auditions.
Mica sang “Queen of the Night” (Magic Flute), which is a song that isn’t usually sung during these contests. It isn’t also the top choice by most people because of its complexity and high notes that not a lot are capable of reaching. She delivers it well and the four judges turned around to pick this talented teen who can sing insane high notes.
Sarah Geronimo said: “I want to find a singer who is original. You are amazing. You have discipline and technique.”
“Very brave and amazing performance. You were focus. I was blown away,” said coach Bamboo.
Meanwhile, Sharon Cuneta said: “You have a very strong foundation from your training.”
Coach Lea Salonga got up to her feet out of excitement from seeing Mica perform this difficult song. She said: “You deserved this four chair turn.”
In the end, Mica picked Lea as her coach.
