Gov't jobs fair chance to join public service

LEGAZPI CITY – The Civil Service Commission-Bicol Region (CSC-5) is inviting aspiring public servants to participate in a weeklong government jobs fair.

In an advisory on Tuesday, the CSC said the job fair on Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at SM City Legazpi, will feature hundreds of vacant positions from nine participating regional government agencies.

As of Tuesday, over 300 pre-registered applicants have been recorded.

Attendees should bring a personal data sheet that includes a recent passport-size photo nameplate and signature, along with photocopies of any relevant certificate of eligibility, ratings or licenses, and transcript of records.

Applicants are encouraged to wear casual or business attire.

The jobs fair is being held simultaneously in 16 regions on Sept. 2 to 5.
