Shirly Saturnino, a 29-year old businesswoman had died while undergoing liposuction and enhancement of a few body parts at the Icon Clinic in Mandaluyong City. Two doctors performed the cosmetic surgeries but they realized that Shiryl’s heart had already stopped beating. They tried to revive her, but to no avail.
Now, the grieving mother, Sherly, has surfaced online in a video interview. Shiryl’s mother said she was hurt because she was not told about the cosmetic surgeries. She also wondered why her daughter was allowed to undergo three surgeries in one night despite its dangers.
The mother also revealed that her daughter was a hardworking woman who had plenty of dreams for her family. Sherly is waiting for the results of her daughter’s autopsy to know if the doctors had responsibility for Shiryl’s death.
Shiryl’s wake is being held in Caloocan City, with her burial schedule on Sunday, April 2.
