According to the Pulse Asia survey conducted on September 24 to 30 of the current year, 88{36ff76c7c78af6a10dd373152a25208ee3a6f1c649053f3d03feae7eadca3240} of Filipino people support President Rodrigo Duterte’s policy on drugs while only two percent opposite it and 9{36ff76c7c78af6a10dd373152a25208ee3a6f1c649053f3d03feae7eadca3240} said they may or may not support it.

94{36ff76c7c78af6a10dd373152a25208ee3a6f1c649053f3d03feae7eadca3240} of those supporters are from Mindanao, 88{36ff76c7c78af6a10dd373152a25208ee3a6f1c649053f3d03feae7eadca3240} from Luzon, 85{36ff76c7c78af6a10dd373152a25208ee3a6f1c649053f3d03feae7eadca3240} from the Visayas, and 84{36ff76c7c78af6a10dd373152a25208ee3a6f1c649053f3d03feae7eadca3240} from National Capital Region.

The result also shows that regardless of Class ABC group, 80{36ff76c7c78af6a10dd373152a25208ee3a6f1c649053f3d03feae7eadca3240} supports the campaign against illegal drugs.

The survey also shows that 73{36ff76c7c78af6a10dd373152a25208ee3a6f1c649053f3d03feae7eadca3240} out of 1,200 respondents aged 18 and above believed that the alleged extrajudicial killing in the country is happening while the war on drugs is being implemented.

But Senator Antonio Trillanes IV the no.critics of President Duterte disagree the pulse asia survey. 

Trillanes believes that Pulse Asia may make a mistake in the sampling method so the President gets a high score.

“I think they made a mistake, it’s either a sampling method or a research work itself,” (“Palagay ko nagkamali sila, it’s either sa sampling method or sa research work mismo,”) Trillanes said in the dzBB program yesterday

“Malay niyo nakumprumiso yung mga researchers nila, malay mo ginawa lang sa ilalim ng puno yung mga sagot,” he added.

 According to Trillanes, it is impossible to say that the opinion of the people has not changed since June with so many issues that the President faces.

“Imposibleng walang nagbagong opinyon simula June na wala pang mga issue at ngayon na sandamakmak na yung issue,” said Trillanes.

The senator added that this is not the first time Pulse Asia has been exposed to the difference in the results of their survey.

“This is not the first time na nangyari ‘yan remember nung 2007 namiss nga ako nung Pulse Asia eh na talo daw ako. Kumbaga ang laki nung diperensiya noon kaya hindi first time na nagkamali ang Pulse Asia na ‘yan,” Trillanes said.
