WATCH! Duterte announced Sept.21 is a special holiday for protesters ”A holiday para walang masaktan

President Rodrigo Duterte, despite of being called a tyrant and dictator by the opposition announced that he’s planning to make the 45th anniversary of the Martial Law as a nationwide holiday. 

He announced it during the pilot episode of Erwin Tulfo’s new show in PTV-4 titled “Sa Totoo Lang” According to the President, he considered an special holiday on September 21, so his critics would be given a chance to express their anger towards the government and to inform the current administration about their demands.


“At this early, I am announcing that I am ordering a holiday para walang masaktan, walang ano, kung may demonstration diyan magkagulo.
Walang trabaho ang gobyerno ng araw na iyan at ang classes ay suspended. Lahat ng public places dito na gusto niyo i-occupy, kunin niyo. Walang pulis na magpapatrolya laban sa inyo.” Duterte said. 

The President vowed to not deploy any policemen and military during the demonstration of his critics, only traffic officers were allowed to the area so the vehicles can still be guided. 

He even allowed the protesters to burn his effigys. “Ang sinasabi ko lang, I will assign kakaunting pulis to maintain traffic para hindi maabala yung hindi kasali. Ito lang ang hinihingi ko sa inyo, wag niyong gawin na magsira kayo, you vandalize, magsunog kayo ng mga ganun ganun. Yung effigy ko sunugin niyo. Make an effigy yung kamukha ko maski isang libo.” he said. 

Duterte explained that he don’t really need to became popular because he’s already the President of the Philippines.
