LOOK! Mayor Sara Duterte slams militants for using child during Sept 21 rally ”“Magprotesta nalang mo, bata pa inyong himuon force multipliers!

Davao City Mayor on Thursday slammed the militant groups for allegedly using children in their rally conducted in different parts of the Philippines as part of the 45th martial law anniversary yesterday.

In her post in Facebook, Inday Sara posted a text message informing her about the lumad children allegedly transported by militant groups to the place where they would conduct a rally to condemn the policies of the Duterte administration. 

The news angered her and criticized the people behind the transportation of the Lumad children to Manila to conduct a rally against the government. 

“Magprotesta nalang mo, bata pa inyong himuon force multipliers. Magkasakit mga bata adto dayun sa Lingap ug Dswd. Wa man gani mo budget pangtambal. God bless you. (Magpoprotesta nalang kayo mga bata pa gagamitin niyo. Magkasakit yang mga batang yan,sa dswd agad kayu tatakbo. Wala nga kayong pera pang gamot.)” Inday Sara said. 

In another Facebook post, Inday Sara Duterte said that the children has the right to decide whether they would join the rally or not. The Davao City mayor said that the Lumad should spend their vacation studying and not joining the militants in a rally far from their homes.

Inday Sara also mentioned the crimes allegedly committed by the members of New People’s Army who allegedly connected to the people who transported the Lumad Children to Manila. 

“Karapatan ng mga bata magdesisyon kung mag ra rally ba sila o hindi, at karapatan ng bata mag holiday kase walang pasok at karapatan ng bata mag aral at hindi dalhin sa manila para mag rally, at karapatan ng bata way sunugin ang planta para may trabaho ang mga magulang nila, at karapatan ng mga bata wag patayin ang kanilang mga magulang ng IED na nag titinda ng isda, finally karapatan ng mga bata magkakilay.” Inday Sara said. 

Even the netizens were angered after they saw a photo published by Energy Fm 107.7 Kalibo, showing several children in Aklan joined the rally against martial law/extrajudicial killings. 

In the placards carried by the children were made by BAYAN-Aklan, one of the biggest militant group in the Philippines which connected to the CPP-NDF-NPA.
