Showbiz Love Teams That Didn’t Click. Find Out Here WHO They Are

 A love team is a pair of actors or television presenters who are promoted as a romantic couple. Aside from the beautiful plot, striking lines and breathtaking scenes, love team is also one of the reasons what makes TV series beautiful.

It is impossible to picture local showbiz without a love team but there were instances that actors and actresses weren’t able to milk the chemistry between these stars by the Kapamilya network, known for having some of the country’s hottest love teams.

Here they are:

1. ENRIQUE GIL and JULIA MONTES

*JulQuen were first paired in the 2013 series ‘Muling Buksan Ang Puso’ but it only lasted for that project as Enrique was paired with Liza Soberano for ‘Forevermore’.

2. JAMES REID and DEVON SERON 

*Both of them came from Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash Edition in 2010. But their pairing came to a halt when James left showbiz for a while. Now, James is one half of Ja-Dine, one of the most popular love teams in the country.

3. MILES OCAMPO and INIGO PASCUAL

*They were paired in the afternoon soap ‘And i Love You So’ in 2015 which lasted for three months.

4. XIAN LIM and ERICH GONZALES

*They both rose to fame in ‘Katorse’ which is the only series they worked on together. Then, Xian was paired up with Kim Chiu. Their love team, KimXi, is also considered one of ABS-CBN’s successful love teams.

5. MATTEO GUIDICELLI and JESSY MENDIOLA

*They had a brief off-screen relationship and were only teamed up in the last Precious Hearts Romances Presents series ‘Paraiso’ in 2012.

6. JULIA MONTES and KENZO GUTIERREZ

*They were paired in ‘And I Love You So’, much like Miles and Inigo. Julia is now paired with Joshua Garcia and Ronnie Alonte, two of the network’s rising male stars.
