Angel Chloe Redondo, a 15-year old young artist from Calamba, Laguna is the lookalike of Alex Gonzaga, an actress, singer, television host and comedian who gained nationwide fame for c0-hosting the first (2013) and the second (2014-2015) season of the Voice Philippines and the first season of The Voice Kids (2014) for which she won two PMPC Star Awards for Best Talent search Program Host as of 2014.
On Saturday, April 22, Angel sings ‘Masterpiece’ by Jessie J on the The Voice Teens Philippines Blind Auditions, a reality singing television competition for teens that airs on ABS-CBN which is based on the Dutch reality singing competition of the same name. She gets four chair turns from the judges. Angel said her family serves as an inspiration of becoming a singer.
According to coach Sharon Cuneta: “I am so impressed. I want that voice on my team.”
“Let me guide you,” said Bamboo Manalac.
“There’s power and so much potential,” said Lea Salonga.
Meanwhile, Sarah Geronimo said: “You did not over sing. You have a sweet soft singing voice.”
Eventually, Redondo picked coach Sarah to be in her team.
