On Saturday, May 6, a 15-year old Filipina lass who grew up in Hongkong named Gia Gonzales sings ‘Roses’ by the Chainsmokers’ on the Voice Teens Philippines blind auditions.
Gia turned all four of the coaches’ chairs with her pretty voice as she sang The Chainsmokers’ song.
According to Lea Salonga: “It was a beautiful, flawless performance, but the cool part is umaapaw iyong kasiyahan sa iyo.” She also pointed out Gonzales’ “very new and very current sound.”
“The way you move and dance, you are natural. You are a star,” said coach Sarah.
Sharon Cuneta rounded off the comments by saying she hopes Gonzales joins her team. “The Megastar” said she wants someone who clearly enjoys the limelight in her roster of aspiring artists.
In the end, Gia picks Team Sarah.
